ST. JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL

FISHING CLUB

You’ve Never Seen A Club Like This Before

Month Long Tournaments

Our club also hosts unique month long fishing tournaments using the iAngler tournament app. The iAngler app allows an angler to take a picture of their catch alongside a measuring device and submit it to a tournament official. There are raffle prizes, giving away swag, and award prizes to the month-long tournament winners.

Education

The St. Johns County High School Fishing Club has a focus on education.  We want to help avid anglers learn safe angling practices as well as stay up-to-date on the latest fishing regulations.  We will also emphasize conservation and how to make educated catch-and-release decisions.  Additionally, we will host guest speakers at our meetings that will teach on various topics that are relevant to our members.

Service

Our Club not only focuses on being a good steward of your environment but also on how to be a helper in the community.  We carryout several service projects. From environmental clean-ups to teaching fishing clinics, we believe that giving of our time in the service of others is very important.

Who Are We

St. Johns High School Fishing Club is for high schoolers in St. Johns County, Florida who enjoy fishing and share a passion for the outdoors. All are welcome to SJHSFC regardless of fishing experience. We have resources that allow all fisherman to become better anglers. SJHSFC is a chapter within Sol Margin Fishing and Conservation Foundation. Conservation is a large part of who we are and all members are highly encouraged to attend monthly environmental cleanups and restoration projects.

The Best Experience Ever

"SJHSFC does a great job bringing together high school anglers in a fun-filled competitive arena, while also creating volunteer opportunities to give back to the environment through cleanups, youth education events, and much more."
